Our Mission

We aim to increase access for talented and motivated African American, Hispanic and Latino students to achieve their career potential in medicine and support their return to underserved communities to mitigate the shortage of clinicians.

What Makes Us Unique?

The Pathway Initiative is not only dedicated to supporting our students every step of the way, from high school all the way through medical residency, but is also designed as a positive feedback loop. Students can apply and be selected at any of the three main entry points: (1) High School, (2) College, and (3) Medical School.

When students complete our programs through residency, they provide feedback and support for those behind them.

This longitudinal, cross-generational, and end-to-end wrap-around program builds a community of dedicated and passionate individuals that support each other while getting support from seasoned professionals at the same time.

Our Story

Given his own humble beginnings from a small town in Ghana, he strongly believes that no child’s future should be shackled by their socio-economic background, Every child has talent and potential, and with the right support can contribute meaningfully to society.
