Nneoma Duru

Medical Student at Boston University School of Medicine

Ms. Duru is a 3rd year medical student at Boston University School of Medicine (BUSM). She is a native of Texas, and holds a Bachelors of Science in Biology with a Chemistry minor from the illustrious Dillard University in New Orleans, LA; achieving the highest cumulative STEM GPA in her graduating class.

Prior to starting at BUSM, Nneoma worked at Ochsner Medical Center as an experienced Data Coordinator with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & health care industry. While at BUSM, she has been part of numerous student organizations such as Orthopaedic Surgery Interest Group; co-leader, Surgical Society; co-leader, Student National Medical Association; Maps Liaison, Social Responsibility Society, PRIDE Service, and Wellness Initiative; Physical and Mental Health.

Mentoring and wellness are her passions and excited about leveraging her experience to support students at The Pathway Initiative.
